Knitting up the ravell'd sleave

Knitting up the ravell'd sleave is another article about sleep. I really don't understand what knitting has to do with sleep, especially when they don't use the word knit in the article. This is the second article that I have found about knitting and sleaves related to sleeping.... Can anyone shed some light on this?
