As the author of ChemKnits, I would consider myself a scientific knitter. Not only have I designed many scientific knitting patterns, but I have also enjoyed searching for other designs.
Rather than looking at how knitters deal with science, I am curious about how science has dealt with knitting. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to research scientific articles somehow related to knitting (whether directly or indirectly) through pubmed. Wish me luck on my newest project!
